Welcome to Care 4 Canines
Care 4 Canines is based in Daventry, Northamptonshire and owned by City & Guilds trained Alison Broome, with over 20 years experience of working with dogs.
Our motto at Care 4 Canines is "A healthy dog is a happy dog". That's something we firmly believe and why we want to help owners ensure their dogs receive the best possible care routine.
The main service we offer is dog grooming and styling, which we provide from the Lazy Cats and Dogs Grooming parlour in Welton Lane, Daventry.
We also provide dog walking, dog-sitting, small pet feeding and "comfort break" services, as detailed on our Services page.
We are fully insured and able to provide references on request. We're also happy to assist with any queries or questions you may have.
Animal Welfare Act 2006
This Act sets out a duty of care for all pet owners to provide
- a suitable diet
- a suitable environment
- protection from pain
- the ability to exhibit normal behaviour patterns
- consideration of the animals need to be housed with or apart from other animals
At Care 4 Canines we aim to help owners meet this duty of care, both when we are providing care services through our business and also through our "Maintaining the Health & Wellbeing of your Dog" leaflet, which includes a visual health check routine for owners and is provided free to customers.
